Creating Identities

| 1. | Click on the Identity button to start the wizard.
| 2. | Specify whether the new identity is an individual or an organisation. In this example the identity will be an individual.
| 3. | Enter the name of the individual.
| 4. | The system checks existing identity records for a match with the name you enter (both first name and other names). This feature is designed to prevent the creation of duplicate identity records - please check the list of matches thoroughly to ensure there is not already a record for the identity, before creating a new one. Note that an exact match from the system is only an exact match based on the identity name, while the date of birth may still be different, which could indicate a different identity.

| 5. | If you are confident that your new identity is genuinely a new record (i.e. that a record for this identity does not already exist), click the New Identity button to go on creating the record:

| 6. | If you are creating an individual identity, you can add a title to the name you have entered (e.g. 'Dr' or 'Ms')
| 7. | The red box requires you to specify the identity types that are applicable to this entity. You can choose multiple identity types, by checking more than one checkbox, if necessary. Note, however, that an identity cannot be both a Client and a Service Provider.

| 8. | If you specify that the identity is a client, you must also specify the client's region, and if the client is an individual, their gender and (optionally) their date of birth. If necessary, you can use the system to calculate a date of birth based on your estimate of the client's age. To do this, double click on the DOB calculated from age checkbox label, and enter your estimate of the client's age:

| 9. | By default, the wizard is set to open the new identity record once you finish with the wizard. If this is not your preference, you can change this checkbox setting:

| 10. | Click the Finish button (note that the Finish button is only available when you have entered all the required information):
