Creating Actions

As defined in the Cases and Actions defined topic, an action is simply doing anything related to a client's case.

The Advocacy case management software allows you to create actions in three ways:
1.Individually, by using the Action toolbar button,  
2.Individually, from within a client's case management screen, and  
3.In 'bulk'; recording multiple actions for multiple clients - for example, at the end of a day's work.  

The following diagrams depict how this flexibility is achieved:

For methods 1 and 2, the system provides the Action screen to work with one individual action at a time. For method 3, the system provides the Daily Actions screen to enter multiple issues for, potentially, multiple clients and cases, in a grid layout:
